Well....

I got a little off track yesterday.  I didn't get my stitch markers done.  :(  I ended up making a mosaic lawn tile with my 2 year old niece.  (seen here)  This is the aftermath of her 2nd birthday!  Chocolate cake war paint.  I think this is still my favorite pic from that party.

Anywho, Gabby and I spent an exciting day making this awesome mosaic garden stone and making hand print bats and at the flea market.  Did I ever tell you how much I love the flea market.  I go sometimes twice a week just to walk around and check everything out.  Well yesterday was my lucky day.  I have owls in my kitchen.  I collect them I love them they are amazing and fun.  Well as I was walking through the flea market this old glass bank catches my eye.  It was an owl and it was a buck!  I thought wow what a great find.  So I kept walking around and then stumbled upon this gold mine!!!! $ 10 bucks for two boxes of assorted owls!  (and a ceramic shoe)   A quick cleaning and then these vintage beauties will soon be gracing my shelves!!  My hubby thinks I'm strange that most of our rooms have themes.  We have owls in the kitchen, circus freaks in the bathroom and Halloween in the upstairs bathroom all year round.  A friend of mine said she once went to the bathroom in a house that had clocks from floor to ceiling.  She said it was so freaky because they were everywhere, all sizes and all different times.  ha ha

So that includes my day yesterday but it wouldn't be complete without a picture of Gabby's garden stone.  I think she did great for being two.: )  Enjoy your Wednesday ladies and gents I am off to get some work done!

Good Morning

Wow!  Getting up at 530 am was never my favorite thing to do.    Oh well that means more time to work on my stuff!  Dr. visit this morning for my check up and then it's off to make mosaic patio stones with my 2 year old niece and 7 year old nephew.  Now that will be interesting.   Also I am participating in an Ed Hardy swap on Raverly so I am going to be making some stitch markers this morning.  Little skulls and roses and tattoo style hearts.  Should be fun and I get to play in clay so it will be a good morning.

Well we have a winner of the ornament giveaway.  Miss Cindy Anderson won the little Candy Corn Witch!  Congrats Cindy and thanks to everyone who took part.  I plan on having more giveaways in the future.

I am going to get sanding shortly and I did make some progress yesterday I started painting the little Joker head and I got some more sanding done.

Well everyone enjoy your Tuesday and I will be back to check in later to show you my stitch markers.  : )

Brrrrr and New Stuff

The namesake of this little corner of the Earth woke me this morning in terrorist fashion.  Jumping on the bed and screaming like toddlers.  These are our fuzzy girls my Halloween kitties Jasper and Luci our living Jack o Lantern.   See what I mean she has faces in her fur.  We had no idea when we got her that she would be such a special kitty.  : )

It got down right cold here this weekend.  I really did not want to leave the comfort of my  warm bed this morning, but at least I have my cup of coffee.  : )  Some things I have been working on are now complete and others still need drying time.  Oh did I mention I knit also?  Well.... I do.  So some new things going up today are Lady Luna and the friendly bat.  This is a steal at $20.00  and so cute.  As always it comes packaged safely and signed, numbered, and dated by moi.  : )  Aren't they cute?  They stand 8" tall by 6" wide and will definately bring a smile to your face everytime you walk by.  If you are interested just send me an email or watch later in the week when I put more items up on Etsy.

Now back to my knitting comment.  I have been knitting at night when I watch telly with my hubs.  Some of the items I have made are coffee cozies, and hats.  Here are pics of them all.  All hats and the coffee cozy are available on my Etsy.  So here they are.  So go check them out and get yours ordered before the cold really sets in.
